IOF further scientific advances in the field of osteoporosis by running or supporting a number of training courses and educational programs. Training courses include:

IOF Advanced Training Course on Osteoporosis:
a two-and-a-half day course held annually in Lyon, France

IOF Regional Training Courses on Osteoporosis:
courses held periodically in different regions of the world

IOF Osteoporosis Diagnosis Course, with Densitometry Certification:
various courses held in cooperation with IOF national societies.

IOF also further education of health professionals by offering various educational tools and slide kits.
