Association 'Women without Osteoporosis'

TV spot draws huge public interest - New World Osteoporosis Day campaign planned.

The TV-spot "The train", translated in Bugarian,
was first presented to journalists at a special press conference at the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency(BTA)
on 15 March, 2003.

After consultations made with McCann-Erickon- Bulgaria, the Association "Women without osteoporosis"
contacted the Board of Bulgarian national television(BNT) and as a result the "Train" was presented
every day in the period from 5 June to 15 June 2003 all over the country during different time zones,
incl. the "peak time".

The second part of the TV-campaign will start in middle of September'2003 in occasion of WOD, when we
expect except BNT,to involve in the campaign two other national channels - bTv and Nova televizia.

So far, more than 10,000 one-minute risk tests were returned to the association. This will help gather statistics on the number of people at risk in Bulgaria - statistics which are currently lacking.
