Osteoporosis event held in Karpos
On June 7, 2010, MOA held an Osteoporosis Day event (traditionally held the first weekend in June for the past three years) for an audience of ca. 80 people. the Mayor of the Municipality of Karpos, Mr. Stefce Jakimovski addressed the audience, and the focus of the event was to raise public awareness of the need for healthy bones through healthy nutrition and lifestyle at all ages. Prevention and treatment was also discussed, followed by an active question and answer session and calcium-rich food tasting.
