Fundraising

As a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, IOF depends on the funds it raises through corporate partnerships, personal donations, membership dues and proceeds from the IOF World Congress on Osteoporosis as well as from the 206: A Bone Fund. These funds are essential to help the IOF carry out many important programs (such as support to national patient societies, research and education grants, news services, lobbying efforts) which aim to promote better awareness, prevention and treatment for osteoporosis sufferers around the world.
