IOF Osteoporosis Teaching Slide Kit
This newly developed slide kit on osteoporosis, prepared by an internationally renowned IOF faculty, offers a valuable resource for medical and healthcare professionals, and is designed for teaching purposes and other professional use. Containing 100 slides in total, the topics covered include the definition of osteoporosis, epidemiology, pathophysiology, morbidity and mortality, costs, risk factors, diagnosis and bone measurement techniques, evaluation of vertebral fractures, pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to treatment, and special topics such as osteoporosis in men and corticosteroid-induced osteoporosis.
