March 11, 2010

Don’t miss out on the year’s most important global osteoporosis and osteoarthritis congress, the IOF WCO-ECCEO10. A record number of abstracts (850+) have been received for the IOF WCO-ECCEO10, which will be held in Florence’s magnificent Fortezza da Basso from May 5 to 8, 2010.

Researchers and clinicians from around the world are invited to experience a diverse and enriching scientific programme featuring:
→ Stimulating plenary lectures on varied ‘hot’ topics delivered by the field’s leading experts;
→ Clinically-focused Meet-the-Expert Sessions, restricted in size for maximum interaction among participants;
→ Greater number of special sessions than ever before, with a focus on topics such as: fracture risk and the design of future new therapies; skeletal development; dermatological side effects of medication; osteoporosis management in the very elderly; hip fractures after long-term use of bisphosphonates…and more…;
→ Satellite symposia to give in-depth coverage of specific topics;
→ Poster sessions and oral presentations of the top abstracts;
→ Extensive industry exhibition from leading companies in the field.

The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) will award 18 CME credits for participation at the IOF WCO-ECCCEO10. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physicians' Recognition Award (PRA).

Enjoy an unforgettable stay in Florence, Italy: an exclusive cultural and historic backdrop to an exciting scientific programme. Hotel availability in downtown Florence will be limited, so early reservation is recommended!
