Asian Audit - Media Launch

IOF, in conjunction with the Chinese Health Promotion Foundation (CHPF), held a media launch to present the landmark report Asian Audit: Epidemiology, costs and burden of osteoporosis in Asia 2009.

Some thirty print journalists and a number of TV crews, primarily  from Asia, were present at the informative launch event. After an introduction to IOF and to the report's key findings and recommendations, speakers from individual countries which contributed to the report highlighted the key issues in their countries. Dr Yan Yue, an osteoporosis patient and medical doctor, spoke about living with osteoporosis.
