All regular accepted abstracts will be published in the IOF World Congress on Osteoporosis Program & Abstracts book which will appear as a supplement of the scientific journal Osteoporosis International. All Late-breaking news abstracts will be published in a post-congress issue of Osteoporosis International.

Instructions for oral presentation and poster preparation will be e-mailed to the presenters by the IOF Congress Secretariat. Instructions can also be accessed by the authors on their abstract accounts.

IOF Young Investigator Travel Awards

A number of awards may be available to young investigators (younger than 35 years of age by December 3, 2008) for selected abstracts that have ranked exceptionally high in the review process by members of the Scientific Program Committee. Applicants are asked to indicate their eligibility on the online abstract submission form. Only first authors who are also the presenting author of the abstract will be considered for this award.

The awards will only be presented at the Congress, at which all Young Investigator Award recipients will present their abstract. Travel Awards not picked up on-site will be forfeited.
