Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission deadline: June 2, 2008

Please note the following:

• All abstracts must be submitted in English. No hardcopy submissions will be considered.
• The contact profile information at the start of the abstract submission program must be that of the Presenting Author for the abstract and no one else.
• All correspondence (primarily by e-mail) will be sent to the Presenting Author.
• Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted. Therefore you should avoid errors and misspellings because these cannot be corrected by the organizers before publication.
• Abstracts may not be withdrawn after June 30, 2008. Written notification must be sent by mail to the IOF Congress Secretariat.
• All abstracts will be subjected to a blind review process by an international panel of recognized experts in the field and the highest ranked abstracts will be selected for oral presentation.
  
  Authors will be notified by e-mail by August 4, 2008 if their abstract has been accepted and the date, time and form of their presentation. 

Instructions for oral presentation and poster preparation will be e-mailed to the presenters by the IOF Congress Secretariat. Instructions will also be made available here.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the IOF World Congress on Osteoporosis Program & Abstracts book which will appear as a supplement of the scientific journal Osteoporosis International.
