These Membership Terms and Conditions apply where you choose to register as an individual Member of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) website (the ‘Site’).

Acceptance of Membership Terms and Conditions

By ticking ‘I have read and accept the terms and conditions’ to register, you will be deemed to have consented to these Membership Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to change or update these Membership Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any revisions to these Membership Terms and Conditions will be notified to you the next time you log on to the Site as a Member.

Description of Membership and Subscription

Payment

Individual annual Pro² Membership fees are charged to the credit card you designate in full on registering. Annual Pro² fees are: $25 (for individuals from low and lower-middle income economies) or $50 (for individuals from upper-middle and high income economies). Payment is in US dollars only. Fees are subject to change. 

Pro² Membership fees are due annually from the date and month in which the Member joined. Failure to pay will result in Pro² Membership being lapsed on the last day of the individual's renewal month and all Pro² Membership benefits will cease.

Springer Journals

As a Pro² Member you are entitled to free online access to the Springer journals Osteoporosis International and Calcified Tissue International. As a condition of access to these journals, you agree to receive occasional updates from Springer.

Cancellation and Refund policy

You may cancel your Membership at any point by notifying us at info@iofbonehealth.org. IOF does not provide refunds on Pro² Membership fees.

Transfer of Membership

IOF Memberships are individual and non-transferable.

Password and Username Security

Upon registration as a Member, you will select a Password and Username you can use to access the Members' area of the site and Members only content. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Password and Username and are responsible for all activities that occur under them. We ask that you notify us if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your Membership account.
