Goal-directed treatment of osteoporosis in Europe

An ESCEO-IOF position paper published in November concludes that it is not currently feasible to apply a treat-to-target strategy in osteoporosis, although it did identify a continued need to improve targeting of treatment to those at higher risk, as well as other issues.
