We encourage you to input into this document to help ensure the voice of the global musculoskeletal health community is reflected and our specific challenges addressed. Including the impact bone, muscle and joint diseases are having on ageing populations and the cost-effective evidence-based strategies i.e. Fracture Liaison Services that exist to help combat them.

Don’t lose the opportunity to have your say as this will become a key WHO framework document in the area of Ageing and Health and will impact the work of member states. The consultation aims to gather valuable inputs towards the agreement on the "Global Strategy and Action Plan". This includes suggested goals, strategic objectives, action points, commitments from stakeholders, and indicators to measure progress, towards healthy ageing that reaches every person.

The Action Plan has the potential to become an invaluable advocacy tool to aid in your national-level efforts - so we encourage you to push for the inclusion of  musculoskeletal health priorities.

The consultation is open until October 30 and your comments will help develop Draft 1, which will be discussed in Geneva on 29-30 October 2015.
