The Osteoporosis Essentials Course registration entitles you to a discounted registration to the IOF Regionals-6th Asia Pacific Osteoporosis Meeting. However, additional fees will be charged for people registered to the Osteoporosis Essentials course but attending only IOF Regionals 6th Asia-Pacific Osteoporosis Meeting.

What is included in the course fee?

Attestation exam

The registration fees include the cost of the attestation exam (45 USD).

The Attestation Exam is optional.  Course participants will receive an email after completion of the course with instruction on how to access the exam. Upon passing the attestation exam, the examinees shall receive an Attestation of Achievement indicating they have mastered the material taught in the course.

This is not a certification exam. The Attestation Exam consists of 60 questions, a passing score will be 70%, and course participants will be able to retake a different version of the exam until they successfully complete. However, it is envisioned that the Attestation of Achievement will serve as proof a person has mastered the contents of this course, and will be the commonly accepted method of assessment outside the US.


Individual payments are handled online by Xing Events, on behalf of IOF. All registration fees payment must be paid in advance and in USD.

1. By Credit Card

Payment is accepted by American Express, VISA and/or MasterCard credit cards and can be done via the secured payment tool provided while registering online. Please note that your credit card will be debited in USD and your monthly credit card statement will show your payment under Xing Events.

The participants by default accept the terms and conditions of the Osteoporosis Essentials Course and authorizes IOF via Xing Events to receive their payment to the IOF bank account, or to debit their credit card account for the total amount due. They also consent to IOF via Xing Events or to IOF debiting or crediting their credit card account with the amount of any subsequent change(s) to the items booked.

2. Paypal payment available

Please note that bank transfer payment is not available through the online registration platform. Should you wish to organize a bank transfer, please contact singapore2016@iofbonehealth.org directly.

Visa and letter of attestation request

Participants to the IOF Osteoporosis Essentials Course are strongly advised to make sure they fulfill all legal requirements to enter Singapore. Besides a valid passport, an entry visa may also be required. Please visit the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to find out whether, depending on your citizenship, country of long-term residence, and the duration and reasons for your stay, you need a visa to enter Singapore.

If you need an entry visa for Singapore, on request, IOF will send you an attestation letter to assist in obtaining it. Should you wish to receive a letter, please note that your request must be registered as early as possible by filling in the appropriate fields in the on-line registration form or by sending an email to singapore2016@iofbonehealth.org before August 15, 2016 in case it has not been requested at the time of registration.

Please carefully check that the attestation letter provided to you, to assist in visa formalities, meets all the requirements of your local consulate.

Cancellation and name change policies

For cancellations received in writing by October 1, 2016 the course registration fee will be refunded with a deduction of 20% from this amount for administrative charges.
The course registration fee will not be refunded for cancellations received after October 1, 2016.
An administrative fee of USD65 will be charged for a name change after October 14, 2016.
