Manti - Filled Pasta

Ingredients
Pasta Filling
2 cups

1 tsp
1 tbsp
flour
1 egg
salt
oil
300 g

mince or ground meat
1 medium sized onion
salt
black pepper
Yoghurt Sauce Tomato Sauce
1 cup

1 tsp 
yoghurt
1 clove garlic
mint
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large tomato

 

Preparation
Filling
1 First chop the onion, place in a saucepan, fry until the colour changes, add the mince and other filling ingredients, stir until done.
Pasta
2 In a bowl, whisk together the egg, oil, 1 tablespoon water and salt. Add the egg mixture gradually to the flour.
4 Knead on a lightly floured surface for 5 minutes (until smooth and elastic).
Roll out half of the dough until 1mm thick. Cut with a knife into small squares.
5 Put a small amount of filling on each of the squares, and close the squares so that each end meets. Repeat the same procedure for the rest of the dough.
6 Cook the filled pasta in a large pan of rapidly boiling water for 10-15 minutes.
Yoghurt Sauce
7 Mix yoghurt, salt, garlic and mint.
Tomato Sauce
8 Mix oil and the chopped tomato to a paste. Cook for a few minutes.
Serving
9 Top each serving with some of the yoghourt and tomato sauce.
