Ingredients

rice powder (or substitute with rice flour)
sugar
semi skimmed or full fat milk
tap water
ground cardamom (optional)
ground pistachios (optional)
   

 

Preparation
1 Place rice powder in large saucepan and add enough cold water to make a paste. Stirring constantly, add milk to the paste, then add sugar and cook slowly until thickened.
2 Next add ground cardamom, rose water and mix well.
3 Immediately spoon hot mixture onto a serving dish.
Sprinkle with ground pistachios and leave to cool for two hours.
