thinly sliced Tomme de Savoie cheese
soup stock (from cubes)
Nutmeg, salt and pepper
   

 

Preparation
1 Peel and slice the potatoes.
2 Butter an oven dish, arrange the potato slices and then slices of Tomme cheese; cover with another layer of potatoes, salt, pepper and nutmeg, then the cheese again, and so on till the dish is full.
3 Finish with spices and a layer of cheese. 

Cover with the soup stock, scatter morsels of butter over the top, and bake at medium heat.
