Seafood is very popular in Greece and you can find very tasty and low-fat combinations. This recipe with shrimps is extremely easy to prepare and delicious! In case you cannot find fresh shrimps at the market, you can replace them with frozen. Also, if you cannot find feta cheese you can replace it with any fresh white cheese.

Ingredients

250 g 
3.5 tbsp
12 big shrimps
tomatoes, finely chopped
1 medium size green pepper, chopped
feta cheese
olive oil
Parsley
Salt, pepper
   

 

Preparation
1 Wash the shrimps and peel off the shells without cutting their head or tail.
2 Put the finely chopped tomatoes in a saucepan, bring them to a boil and leave them at medium heat.
Add: olive oil, the green pepper, salt and pepper and let the sauce boil slowly until it becomes thick.
3 Add the shrimps to the sauce and let them boil for about 5-10 minutes until they soften. If necessary, add some water.
Finally, add the feta cheese (finely chopped) and the parsley and remove the dish from the burner.
